Soccer Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Ups Bounty for Lost Pet in Mexican Territory to £15,000
Welsh soccer player Aaron Ramsey has raised the reward for details about the lost canine Halo to £15,000.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who currently represents the Mexican club Pumas in the capital, revealed that the beagle was observed in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato zone.
the dog, who disappeared on October 9th, was wearing a GPS collar, and Ramsey published a exact coordinates of the spot she vanished from.
"Any information about our Halo please contact us. Big bounty for locating her. We are all praying she is safe and comes home to our side quickly," Ramsey wrote on Instagram.
Earlier Bounty and Emotional Pleas
Ramsey initially disclosed that Halo had gone missing a fortnight back and has subsequently shared multiple images of the beloved dog on his social media account.
A £7.5k bounty was originally announced, but with no news on Halo's location after a seven days, the player and his loved ones increased the sum.
"Our only wish is our girl home," he said in a further request on social media after the decade-old dog was lost.
The most recent image post is a grayscale snapshot of the beagle napping, her head resting in the bend of the athlete's elbow, with the description: "How I wish to embrace you once more sweet Halo."
Family's Anxieties and Background
Ramsey has also circulated a message from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on online channels mentioning they have a few "pressing concerns" about the disappearance and fear the family "could possibly not obtain clarity".
"To this day we have not located Halo. I fear we will," his wife's post stated.
The Wales skipper joined Mexican top-flight team Club Universidad Nacional recently and made his debut in Liga MX in August.
Originally from Caerphilly footballer is the initial high profile British athlete to participate in the Liga MX.
